These action items must be completed before your institution can participate in the MISO Survey.
Critical first steps

- Submit Information Sharing Agreement (due October 1, 2010)
- Inform your MISO Survey Team liaison about the start date for your Spring semester (due October 1, Â 2010)
Planning for the survey

- Obtain Institutional Review Board approval (due December 3, 2010)
- Decide upon customized, optional, demographic, & local questions (due December 3, 2010)
- Decide whether to survey special campus populations (due December 3, 2010)
- Draft campus messages (due December 17, 2010)
Technical preparations

- Submit email lists (due the first Friday of your institution’s Spring semester)
- Complete spam preparations (due during the third week of your institution’s Spring semester)
During the survey

- Count dead email addresses (due at the conclusion of survey administration at your institution)
- Respond to special needs
After the survey

- Complete institutional data form (due March 18, 2011)
- Provide feedback about survey instrument and administration process (due Spring 2011)
- Review, share, and use the Survey results (beginning in Spring 2011)
