Critical First Steps


Submit Information Sharing Agreement (due October 1, 2010)

Every school participating in this survey must sign the Information Sharing Agreement (ISA). The ISA should be signed by someone at your institution – usually your CIO and/or your Librarian – with the right to formalize your institution’s commitment to participate in the MISO Survey. We recommend that you review the ISA with your CIO and/or Library Director before identifying the individual that will sign the document.  If you are unsure which individuals at your institution should sign the ISA, consult with your MISO Survey Team liaison.  The signed ISA document should be emailed to David Consiglio (with a CC to your MISO Team Liaison) in PDF format. Please contact your liaison if you wish to fax the ISA or send it through the mail.

Inform your MISO Survey Team liaison about the start date for your Spring semester (due October 1,  2010)

The MISO Survey begins at each participating institution on the fourth Thursday of the institution’s Spring semester. The Survey is then open for respondents for 12 days. In order for the MISO Survey Administrator to arrange for the administration of the MISO Survey at your institution, you must inform your liaison about the date on which your Spring semester begins.
