Participating in the MISO Survey enables your institution to gather critical data about the IT and library services that are most important to campus constituents and about their level of satisfaction with these services. The survey results will enable your institution to better tailor IT and library services to the needs of campus constituents and, when necessary, carefully curtail services. In addition, your institution will be able to conduct benchmark analyses that compare services at your college or university with those at peer institutions. The price is $2000 to survey faculty, staff, and full-time undergraduate students. For an additional $600 you can include up to three additional populations to survey, such as graduate students.
We also offer a split sample survey for $200 per survey population. With this special survey design, you may split optional questions among the survey participants of a given population at your institution. All participants will be asked the MISO Survey’s few required questions, but the optional items will be spread among three separate survey instruments for a population. This will make a shorter survey for each participant while allowing you to ask more questions to provide you with the data you need to make decisions about the services your institution offers.
